Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) is a federal university established by Decree No. 34 of 1991, sited in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. Named after Nigeria's first indigenous Governor-General and first President, the university embodies his vision of an educated, unified, and self-reliant nation. With over 30,000 students across 6 faculties, UNIZIK consistently ranks among Nigeria's top federal universities, producing graduates who lead in medicine, engineering, law, arts, management, and the sciences.
